Central Memphis just east of downtown, covering Midtown, Cooper-Young, Overton Square, the Medical District and parts of South Memphis. Named for the E.H. Crump Boulevard corridor at the precinct's southern edge. Includes some of the densest commercial and entertainment districts in the city.
Over the 90 days ending June 2026, the MPD recorded 2,425 crime incidents in Crump, about 26% more than the previous 90 days. The most common were simple assault and dest.
